About Litchfield Park

Litchfield Park is a small, historic planned community (roughly 7,000 residents) in the southwest Valley with one of the most distinctive origin stories in Arizona: in 1917, Goodyear Tire & Rubber sent executive Paul Litchfield to buy desert farmland for cotton to make tire cords, and the town that grew around Goodyear Farms took his name. Palm-lined streets, the century-old Wigwam resort and a walkable historic downtown give it a small-town character that sets it apart from its newer neighbors — with Goodyear's growth literally surrounding it.
