About Sorrento

Sorrento is a small town of about 1,500 residents (2020) in northern Ascension Parish, straddling U.S. 61 — the Airline Highway, also known as the "Blues Highway." A former mill and railroad town, it retains a rural, small-town character amid the parish's famed strawberry country.
