About Augusta

Augusta is a historic city on the Ohio River in Bracken County, famous as the home of George Clooney's family roots and the Augusta Ferry (one of the last Ohio River ferries, crossing to Higginsport, Ohio). With its own Augusta Independent school district, the historic riverfront, and the annual Augusta Art Guild events, it is a charming, affordable river town.
