About Marble
A tiny former marble-quarrying town at 7,950 feet in the Elk Mountains, reached by a rugged dirt road over McClure Pass. Marble is famous for the Crystal Mill, one of Colorado's most photographed historic sites, and for the Yule Marble Quarry that supplied stone for the Lincoln Memorial. Only a few hundred people live here year-round.
