Huber Heights is a city in Montgomery County with a small portion in Miami County (population 43,439 at the 2020 census), about 10 miles north of downtown Dayton. Developed largely from the 1950s onward by developer Charles Huber as one of America's early large-scale planned suburbs, it is now the metro's third-largest city — a sprawling residential community popular with Wright-Patterson AFB families for its affordability, parks, and I-70 access.
