About Xenia
Xenia (pronounced "zeen-ya") is a city in Greene County and its county seat (population 25,441 at the 2020 census), about 15 miles east of downtown Dayton. It is best known nationally as the city struck by an F5 tornado on April 3, 1974, during the Super Outbreak — an event still commemorated downtown.
