About Whitsett
Whitsett is a small town in eastern Guilford County, about 12.7 miles straight-line east of downtown Greensboro (2020 census population: 584, per Wikipedia, read September 24, 2026). A longtime farming community between Greensboro and Burlington, it is seeing new subdivision growth as Greensboro expands east.
