About Halls Crossroads

Halls Crossroads — commonly called Halls — is an unincorporated community and census-designated place of about 10,341 (2020 Census) in northern Knox County, at the crossroads of Maynardville Pike (US-441) and Emory Road. Named for early settler Thomas Hall (Pulaski Hall), it is one of Knoxville's largest suburbs, with Halls High School, the Halls branch library, a local history museum, and community parks.
