Century Village is a census-designated place in unincorporated Palm Beach County just west of West Palm Beach — the original and largest of four same-developer Century Villages, and the only one ever designated as a CDP (the Boca Raton, Deerfield Beach, and Pembroke Pines locations are not part of it). Built starting in 1968, it is a gated 55+ of roughly 7,800 condo units in 309 buildings, with a 2-acre clubhouse, a 1,221-seat theater, satellite pools and an internal shuttle system. Population is about 7,600–7,900.
