About King of Prussia

King of Prussia is a census-designated place in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, about 15 miles northwest of Center City Philadelphia. The population was 24,695 at the 2020 census. The community took its unusual name in the 18th century from a local tavern named the King of Prussia Inn, which was named after King Frederick the Great of Prussia.
