About Pottstown
Pottstown is a borough in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, about 32 miles northwest of Center City Philadelphia. The population was 23,433 at the 2020 census. Pottstown was laid out in 1752–53 and named Pottsgrove in honor of its founder, John Potts. Profile data read September 25, 2026.
