About West Warwick

West Warwick is a mill town in the Pawtuxet River valley, split off from Warwick in 1913. Its villages — Arctic, Riverpoint, Centreville, Natick, Crompton — grew around textile mills, and the housing stock still shows it: early-1900s colonials, eclectic Cape Cods, ranch-style homes, and multifamily houses on quarter-acre lots, with newer subdivisions on the edges.
