About Spokane Valley
Spokane Valley is the metro's second-largest city (roughly 109,000 residents), incorporated in 2003 from a patchwork of unincorporated communities east of Spokane. It is the region's mainstream suburb: retail corridors along Sprague and Appleway, the Spokane Valley Mall, master-planned-feeling neighborhoods, and quick access to the Spokane River, Dishman Hills, and the Idaho line. Commercially self-sufficient, with three public school districts serving different parts of the city.
