About Buckhead
Buckhead is a town in Morgan County with 194 residents in the 2020 census, seven miles east-southeast of Madison. Incorporated in 1908 (an 1887 attempt wasn't properly recorded), it was named, per tradition, when hunters shot a deer and mounted the buck's head on a tree.
