About Duxbury

Duxbury is one of the South Shore's most coastal towns, a historic shipbuilding community (incorporated 1637) of about 16,000 where old sea-captain homes, conservation land and the long barrier of Duxbury Beach define the landscape. Housing ranges from antique colonials near the village center to waterfront estates and newer luxury construction, at firmly upper-end prices.
