About Tonawanda

Tonawanda (formally the Town of Tonawanda) is a town in northern Erie County, New York, and the northern inner-ring suburb of Buffalo, with about 72,600 residents (2020 census). It mixes postwar subdivisions, the Village of Kenmore, industrial riverfront along the Niagara River, and a strong parks system — Sheridan Park, Lincoln Park, and the Tonawanda Rails-to-Trails.
