About Roxboro

Roxboro is the Person County seat in the northern part of the metro, about 30 miles north of Durham along US-501. A historic tobacco and textile market town, its downtown centers on the courthouse square and Main Street's commercial historic district. Mayo Lake and Hyco Lake nearby draw boaters and anglers.
