About Rocky Top

Rocky Top is a city of about 1,628 (2020 Census; some sources cite up to 1,781) spanning Anderson and Campbell counties, on I-75 northwest of Knoxville. Formerly known as Coal Creek (and later Lake City), it renamed itself Rocky Top in 2014 after the famous bluegrass song.
