About Vilonia
Vilonia is a city in southeastern Faulkner County (population 4,288 at the 2020 census, per Wikipedia) on the US-64 corridor between Conway and Beebe. The town's name came from a transcription error when local Masons applied for national affiliation (the intended name ended in "s"). Vilonia was devastated by two tornadoes — an EF2 in April 2011 (4 killed) and a violent EF4 in April 2014 (16 killed across the Mayflower–Vilonia path) — and has since rebuilt.
