About Paramount

Paramount is a Gateway Cities suburb of about 53,700 people (2020 census) between Long Beach and downtown Los Angeles, formed from the twin towns of Hynes and Clearwater and incorporated in 1957 (per Wikipedia, read September 24, 2026). It is also the world headquarters of the Zamboni Company — the ice resurfacer was invented here — and the city runs its own Easy Rider Shuttle.
