About Brown Deer

Brown Deer (about 12,000 residents) is a North Shore village northwest of Milwaukee, built around the Brown Deer Park golf course (a Milwaukee County park) and the Brown Deer Road commercial corridor. Housing is largely 1950s–1970s ranch homes and split-levels, with newer apartments and senior living near the corridor.
