About Gibbon
Gibbon is a small agricultural city in southeastern Sibley County with about 784 residents. Founded as a railroad town in the 1880s and incorporated in 1887, it grew out of German and Scandinavian farm settlement and still carries that identity: grain elevators mark the skyline, and Minnesota Highway 19 runs through town at County Road 2.
