About Green Isle
Green Isle is a small city of roughly 590 residents in eastern Sibley County, about an hour southwest of the Twin Cities. Platted in 1881 along the Minneapolis and St. Louis Railway, its name nods to Ireland and the Irish settlers who put it on the map; Minnesota Highways 5 and 25 are now the main routes through town.
