About Waverly
Waverly is a small lakeside city in southwestern Wright County, Minnesota, motto "A rich past and a bright tomorrow." Population 1,900 at the 2020 census. Laid out in 1869 when the Saint Paul and Pacific Railroad arrived, named after Waverly, New York, and incorporated in 1881.
