About Barnegat Light

Barnegat Light is a small borough (about 640 residents, 2010 census) at the northern tip of Long Beach Island, named for "Old Barney," the historic Barnegat Lighthouse. It is a quiet, second-home-heavy beach town with a fishing-village feel, Viking Village's commercial fishing docks, and bay and ocean access.
