About Kaysville
Kaysville is a Davis County city of 32,945 residents (2020 Census) and the first city incorporated in Davis County, in 1868. Settled in 1847 by Hector Haight and originally called "Kay's Creek," it was named for William Kay — made bishop by Brigham Young in 1851 (shown above). It is known for its historic Main Street atmosphere and the USU Botanical Gardens.
