About Belleair

Belleair is a small residential town in Pinellas County that began as a planned resort community around Henry B. Plant's Belleview Hotel (built 1897) and later developed into a residential colony. It sits on the mainland side of the Intracoastal Waterway, between Clearwater and Largo, with easy access to the Sand Key barrier-island beaches via the Belleair Causeway. Housing is predominantly single-family homes on leafy streets, including historic and luxury properties near the Belleview Inn.
