About Hidden Springs
Hidden Springs is a 1,844-acre master-planned community (a census-designated place, ~3,100 residents in the 2020 census) tucked in the Dry Creek Valley in the northwest Boise foothills, just north of Boise and east of Eagle. Built around a 130-year-old working farm, it was designed as a small-town community with rural character — over 800 acres of permanent open space and conservation land, a village-green Town Center with a mercantile, cafe, post office, library, sheriff's office, and fire station, plus an on-site charter school, two community pools, a community garden, and miles of hiking and biking trails connecting to the Ridge to Rivers system. Events center on the Town Center: Friday night dinners, summer concerts, and the annual harvest festival. It is the metro's signature foothill "agrihood."
