About Milwaukee
Milwaukee is Wisconsin's largest city (about 577,000 residents at the 2020 census), set on Lake Michigan at the confluence of the Milwaukee, Menomonee, and Kinnickinnic rivers. Once defined by brewing and heavy manufacturing, it is now a Great Lakes cultural hub with the Calatrava-designed Milwaukee Art Museum, the Harley-Davidson Museum, a revitalized Third Ward and Deer District, and miles of lakefront parks.
