About Port Washington North
Port Washington North is an incorporated village in the Town of North Hempstead on the Cow Neck Peninsula, part of the Greater Port Washington area. Incorporated on May 16, 1932 — after residents unanimously voted to incorporate rather than be annexed by adjacent Manorhaven, which had tried in 1931 — it is the youngest village in the Town of North Hempstead (per en.wikipedia.org).
