About Southeast
Southeast is Putnam County's southeastern gateway and second-largest town, founded in 1788 as one of the county's three original towns. It contains the Village of Brewster and sits at the crossroads of I-684 and I-84, Routes 22 and 312, and US 6/202 — with **two** Metro-North Harlem Line stations inside the town (Brewster village and Southeast, formerly Brewster North).
