About Upper Brookville

Upper Brookville is an incorporated village in the Town of Oyster Bay on the North Shore — the youngest village in the town and the second-youngest in Nassau County, incorporated July 28, 1932. Named for the brook that once ran along its main road, Wolver Hollow (resident Hope Goddard Iselin reportedly refused "Lower Brookville": "I refuse to live in lower anything").
