About Ojai

Ojai is a small arts-and-spirituality enclave in the Ojai Valley, ringed by the Topatopa Mountains and famous for its "pink moment" — the sunset glow on the mountains. The Spanish-style downtown arcade, bookshops like Bart's Books, galleries, and the Ojai Valley Inn draw weekend visitors from across Southern California. The valley has deep roots in Theosophy and wellness culture (Krishnamurti, Meditation Mount) and a strong farm-to-table scene. Housing is among the priciest in the county, with valley estates, citrus groves, and a limited supply of in-town homes. Employment is largely tourism, hospitality, and remote work.
