About Simi Valley

Simi Valley is the metro's eastern anchor, a large suburban city in the Simi Valley between the Santa Susana Mountains and the Simi Hills. It is best known nationally as the home of the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library & Museum, perched on a hilltop with sweeping valley views. The city blends established neighborhoods like Wood Ranch and Texas Tract with newer hillside developments, and offers abundant parks and trails, including the historic Corriganville movie ranch park. Major employers include the library/museum, Adventist Health Simi Valley, and manufacturing and tech firms; many residents commute to the San Fernando Valley, Thousand Oaks, or Los Angeles.
