Indian Shores is a small beachfront town on the Sand Key barrier island (2020 census population 1,190), bordered by Indian Rocks Beach to the north and Redington Shores to the south. The town runs its own 24-hour municipal police department (which also serves neighboring Redington Shores) and recently moved into a new municipal center with a waterfront banquet hall.
