Kenneth City is a compact residential town (0.7 square miles, all land; 2020 census population 5,047) in southern Pinellas County, between St. Petersburg and Pinellas Park. It was founded in 1957 by developer Sidney Colen, who named it after his son Kenneth. The town is almost entirely residential — small single-family homes and a retiree-friendly feel — with its civic life centered on its parks, including James P.
