Oldsmar is a city in northern Pinellas County at the top of Tampa Bay, home to roughly 15,000 people. It was founded in 1916 by automobile pioneer Ransom E. Olds as a planned community ("R.E. Olds-on-the-Bay") and keeps a small-town feel with a historic downtown core. The city is known for the large Oldsmar Flea Market and for Tampa Bay Downs, the thoroughbred racetrack on Race Track Road.
