About Cherry Hills Village
Cherry Hills Village (population 6,442 in 2020) is one of the Denver metro's most addresses — an Arapahoe County city of large equestrian estates about 10 miles south of downtown Denver. Incorporated in 1945 by residents seeking to preserve the area's rural character, it is known for the Cherry Hills Country Club (host of three U.S. Opens, most recently 1978, and the 2023 U.S. Amateur), the historic Quincy Farm, and strict zoning that keeps lots large and commercial development minimal. Cherry Creek schools serve the village.
