About Edgewater
Edgewater (population 5,005 in 2020) is a tiny Jefferson County city hugging the west shore of Sloan's Lake, about 5 miles west of downtown Denver. Founded in 1901 and named for its lakefront, it is one of the metro's smallest cities — a walkable grid of bungalows and midcentury homes with an increasingly lively 25th Avenue corridor, home to the Edgewater Public Market food hall. Sloan's Lake Park, Denver's second-largest park, is effectively its front yard.
