About Hālawa
Hālawa is a small valley community — a census-designated place (2020 population 15,016) tucked between ʻAiea and the H-3/H-201 interchange, best known as the home of Aloha Stadium and the eastern terminus of the Skyline rail line's first segment (Hālawa/Aloha Stadium station). The stadium closed in 2020; the site is slated for the New Aloha Stadium Entertainment District redevelopment. Housing is mostly townhomes and single-family homes in the valley's residential pockets, with quick freeway access to both downtown and the windward side via H-3.
