About Gluckstadt
Gluckstadt ("Lucky Town") is Mississippi's newest city, incorporated in June 2021 after a Mississippi Supreme Court ruling ended a years-long annexation battle with Canton. Settled in June 1905 by families from Klaasville, Indiana, who bought farmland from the Highland Colony Company, it remained an unincorporated community for over a century.
