About Wesson
Wesson is a town in southern Copiah County on US-51, about 40 miles south of Jackson, with roughly 1,800 residents. It is best known as the home of Copiah-Lincoln Community College (Co-Lin): founded in 1915 as Copiah-Lincoln Agricultural High School through a joint effort of Copiah and Lincoln counties, organized as a junior college in 1928, and renamed in 1988, Co-Lin's main campus anchors the town with 3,000+ students, athletics (the Wolfpack), and a full events calendar.
