About Arlington

Arlington is a village of about 1,300 people (2020 Census: 1,300) along the Elkhorn River in Washington County, Nebraska — the most populous village in Nebraska. Originally platted as Bell Creek in 1869 with the Sioux City and Pacific Railroad and renamed in 1882, it was home to the internationally acclaimed Marshall Nurseries, creators of the Marshall seedless green ash (per Wikipedia, read September 24, 2026).
