About Dunlap
Dunlap is a city of about 1,040 people (2020 Census: 1,038) in the northeast corner of Harrison County, with a small portion extending into Crawford County. Platted by the Cedar Rapids Land Company in 1867 and incorporated in 1871, it was a railroad division town named for a railroad official, and its 1880s streets were named after Brooklyn Heights street names.
