About Ormond-by-the-Sea
Ormond-by-the-Sea (~7,312 residents, 2020 Census) is an unincorporated census-designated place and town on the North Peninsula in northeast Volusia County, per en.wikipedia.org (read September 24, 2026). Its boundaries run from the Volusia/Flagler county line on the north to the city of Ormond Beach on the south, between the Atlantic Ocean and the Halifax River. The two principal roads are State Road A1A (Ocean Shore Boulevard) along the ocean and John Anderson Drive along the river. A quieter, residential coastal community of beach homes and condos north of Ormond Beach.
