About Bolton
Bolton (motto "A Town for All Seasons") is a small, deliberately rural town of about 4,900 in Tolland County, east of Manchester. Incorporated in 1720, it has used ordinances since the 1960s to hold the line on growth — minimum one-acre residential lots, limits on business types — so the town keeps its farmland, trails, and open space.
