About Battle Ground
Battle Ground is a fast-growing, lower-density city in north-central Clark County, reached from Vancouver via SR-502 and SR-503. It grew from a small town into a sprawling suburb with new subdivisions, schools and retail, while keeping a small-town core around Main Street. Residents trade a longer Portland commute for newer homes on bigger lots at lower prices than Camas or Vancouver's west side.
