About Centerton
Centerton is a fast-growing city near the center of Benton County, west of Bentonville on Highway 102. It grew from a railroad stop and fruit-orchard community (settled around McKissick Spring, laid out as a town in 1900) into one of Arkansas's fastest-growing cities: the population rose from 491 in 1990 to 17,792 at the 2020 census (estimated 27,176 in 2025). Largely a Bentonville bedroom community, it keeps a small-town feel with newer subdivisions, parks, and its historic spring (per Wikipedia, read September 24, 2026).
