About Elm Springs
Elm Springs is a city straddling the Benton–Washington county line, immediately west of Springdale. Founded in 1832 and incorporated May 23, 1917, it grew up around a spring-fed mill; it served as a Confederate mustering site and saw two minor Civil War skirmishes in 1863. The population was 2,361 at the 2020 census (estimated 2,852 in 2025), up 53.8% from 2010.
