About Gravette
Gravette is a city in northwestern Benton County — "The Heart of Hometown America." Originally the pioneer settlement of Nebo, it was formally incorporated January 27, 1899 and boomed with the arrival of the Arkansas and Oklahoma Railroad (~1898) and the fruit-growing industry. In 2012 it annexed the unincorporated community of Hiwasse, growing to 15.33 square miles. The population was 3,547 at the 2020 census (estimated 3,889 in 2025).
